PKF Littlejohn Advisory Limited is a specialist restructuring, advisory and insolvency practice and part of the PKF network with offices in Leeds, London and Manchester.  We provide advice and solutions to a wide variety of stakeholder groups across a broad range of industry sectors.  Our professionals include:

Purpose and aim of the role

• You will be working for the firm’s restructuring division. Your role will be within the specialist team focusing on contentious insolvency. You will work with the team in the management and investigation of complex insolvency cases involving disputes, potential litigation, asset tracing and recovery.
• You will work closely with legal solicitors, accountants, stakeholders, creditors and government bodies to administer and progress a variety of ongoing contentious insolvency estates reporting to a Manager, director or partner.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assisting with and managing a portfolio of contentious insolvency cases, including liquidations (CVL’s and compulsory) and bankruptcies.
• Work with the team in order to conduct in depth investigations into the affairs of insolvent companies and individuals focusing on misconduct and antecedent transactions.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports, for use in litigation and recovery proceedings.
• Implement strategies on cases and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Assist senior team members in progressing complex investigation cases.
• Liaising with creditors, stakeholders, official receivers and other third parties in relation to case progression/handovers and updates.
• Assisting with statutory compliance procedures including take on and closure of cases.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Ideally previous experience working in a restructuring team
• A broad knowledge and experience of all corporate insolvency case types
• Competent in all Microsoft packages
• IPS Turnkey, or equivalent, and document merging
