Introduction to the Division

Advisory 

PKF Littlejohn Advisory Limited is a specialist restructuring, advisory and insolvency practice and part of the PKF network with offices in Leeds, London and Manchester.  We provide advice and solutions to a wide variety of stakeholder groups across a broad range of industry sectors.  Our professionals include:

  • A dedicated investigation and forensic team which predominantly administer insolvency cases where there has been an indication of fraud or dishonest conduct.
  • A dedicated financial services team with extensive experience dealing with distressed regulated businesses including Credit Unions, EMIs, SIPP administrators and more.
  • A core team involved with both trading and non-trading Administrations, CVAs and both solvent and insolvent liquidations
  • Personal insolvency specialists

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Restructuring Advisory Manager to join our national advisory team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with relevant experience who thrives on managing complex cases and mentoring others.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a diverse caseload of 30+ restructuring, advisory or insolvency assignments, including administrations, creditors’ voluntary liquidations, members’ voluntary liquidations, and compulsory liquidations
  • Oversee case progression from pre-appointment planning to closure, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and internal processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders for new work and lender panels liaising with other offices and service lines as appropriate
  • Assume responsibility for client relations and liaise with clients, agents and solicitors as necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to drive operational efficiency
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior team members, promoting development and high performance.
  • Cultivate and develop strong relationships with other professionals externally and participate actively in marketing and business development initiatives
  • Adhere to PKF’s systems, policy requirements and relevant Health & Safety policy.

Person Specification

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous advisory/restructuring/insolvency experience within a professional services firm.
  • Possess a recognised professional qualification e.g. CPI, JIEB, ACCA, ACA.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the UK insolvency procedures and legislation, restructuring frameworks and distressed business environments.
  • Proven ability to independently manage a complex and varied caseload.
  • Passion for people management, with demonstrable experience in training and team development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric approach.
  • Team player, highly organised and high attention to detail.
  • Been seen as a role model
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to originate work
