We’re looking for forward-thinking people to come on board and join us within Technical & Compliance, Finance, IT, Training, Human Resources, Business Development/Marketing, Legal, and Administration.

The purpose of the IT team is to provide support to colleagues on all aspects of the IT hardware and software platforms. Ensuring solutions are offered and colleagues supported to ensure client work is delivered on time and on budget.
We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys making things work better and is a top-notch problem solver and happy getting stuck in with whatever needs doing. The role will work alongside the IT Manager, predominantly supporting our Leeds and Manchester offices whilst assisting the IT service desk remotely.
The individual will also support the Leeds office Facilities Team on an adhoc basis, providing holiday and absence cover on the welcome desk and other facilities tasks.
Job Duties
- Based in the Leeds office, with visits to the Manchester office as required, providing general hardware and software support to the Leeds and Manchester staff.
- Logging and updating service desk tickets for the local offices as well as the firm as a whole (working with the service desk team in London).
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues including providing 'At Desk' support to users.
- Setting up and configuring laptops.
- Fault finding to laptops and desktops.
- Maintaining an adequate stock of spare IT equipment.
- Setting up and supporting Mobile Phones for users
- Escalating IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary
- Installing authorised software to laptops.
- Setting up and support Zoom Rooms software and hardware.
- Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to laptops and kept up to date.
- Reporting faults to hardware and software suppliers
- Ensuring all logs for equipment and users are maintained.
- Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
- Maintaining and providing support for the remote access service
- Performing basic administrative support duties, as required, to meet specific operational objectives.
- Providing assistance as required to the IT manager.
- Providing assistance and support to colleagues in IT-related matters
- Ensuring that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal customers.
- The role will be mainly office based but with some opportunity to work from home when necessary.
- Supporting the Leeds premises office move during 2025 from an IT perspective.
- Covering Leeds Facilities Team absences on an ad hoc basis with duties such as welcome desk, post management and meeting room management, under direction of the Group facilities manager.
- Experience with, and strong technical understanding of these technologies would be expected: Microsoft 365 apps and Microsoft 365 admin. Active Directory.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience of being part of an IT project team
- Enjoy a fast-paced and variable workload.
- Experience working within Professional Services is beneficial
