Introduction to the Division

Infrastructure 

We are good at getting things done and our Infrastructure team applies this mentality to ensure we have the right tools, technology, strategies and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and future-proof our growing business.

We’re looking for forward-thinking people to come on board and join us within Technical & Compliance, Finance, IT, Training, Human Resources, Business Development/Marketing, Legal, and Administration.

These teams play a key role in the success of the firm as they shape the way we operate. By joining one of these teams, you’ll influence the future of PKF, while enjoying the support, training and opportunities you need to succeed both personally and professionally.

Responsibilities
  • To optimise ServiceDesk operations and meet the KPI’s which may be amended from time to time
  • Ensure ServiceDesk tickets are triaged in a timely manner 
  • Ensure ServiceDesk tickets are reviewed to identify patterns and emerging issues for action.
  • Act as an escalation point for the Service Desk Team
  • Attend the weekly IT management meeting and providing a review of tickets and issues
  • Maintain accreditation objectives i.e. CE & CE+
  • Ensure compliance with IT based regulatory requirements (FRC, PCAOB, ICO)
  • 3rd party risk and vendor management
  • Primary person to draft initial responses for client IT/Security questionnaires
  • Governance of scheduled jobs, including Power Platform
  • Initial draft of annual IT budget within timescales set by Finance.
  • Develop and implement business processes and documentation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Line Management of, and appraisal for, line reports.
  • Provide input into the firms IT Strategy.
  • As required ensure IT Budgets are adhered to and any overs pend agreed with the IT Director.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with IT suppliers.
Person Specification
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience working within a management/team lead role
  • Possess excellent communication skills with a proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Experience in building, developing & working with remote teams
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English. This person needs to be able to communicate and engage with c-level execs
  • Leading and motivating cross-functional teams and influencing senior management and key stakeholders
  • Experience of managing on-premises and cloud environments
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, Cyber Security, Azure, and Networking
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Strong understanding of GDPR regulations and their implementation in IT practices
  • Working knowledge in ISO processes and policies, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
