ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a portfolio of assignments working directly to appointment takers
• Development of staff at all levels
• Representing the firm in business development activity
• Dealing directly with stakeholders and teaching others how to do so
• Ensuring proactive case progression
• Conducting appraisals and performance improvement programmes
• Be seen as a role model

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Extensive relevant experience
• ACCA or JIEB
• Thorough understanding of legislation and best practice
• Ability to provide advice to third parties on most issues
• Ability to write articles
• Manage a team
• Ability to develop staff and conduct appraisals
• Good interviewing technique
• Initiate ongoing marketing activities
• Deal with staff issues professionally and proactively
• Be seen as a role model
