Introduction to the Division

Advisory 

PKF Littlejohn Advisory Limited is a specialist restructuring, advisory and insolvency practice and part of the PKF network with offices in Leeds, London and Manchester.  We provide advice and solutions to a wide variety of stakeholder groups across a broad range of industry sectors.  Our professionals include :

  • A dedicated investigation and forensic team which predominantly administer insolvency cases where there has been an indication of fraud or dishonest conduct.
  • A dedicated financial services team with extensive experience dealing with distressed regulated businesses including Credit Unions, EMIs, SIPP administrators and more.
  • A core team involved with both trading and non-trading Administrations, CVAs and both solvent and insolvent liquidations
  • Personal insolvency specialists

Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you will be driven and understand risk.  You will solve problems, be a team player and influence others in our business.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively ensure all cases are progressed timely manner, overseeing case team members work and taking control of tasks where required.
  • Lead assignments, identify and discuss with the IP any issues and obstacles as they arise, suggesting solutions to overcome and progress matters, and provide regular updates to the IP.
  • Undertake financial analysis of statutory accounts, management information, short term cash flow forecasts and longer-term integrated forecast models.
  • Proactively managing own portfolio ensuring case progression is continuously evidenced and deadlines are met.
  • Use IPS case management system for all cases, proactively addressing upcoming diary events as appropriate
  • Manage, build and maintain key relationships with clients and other 3rd parties.
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders for new work and lender panels liaising with other offices and service lines as appropriate.
  • Promote the business and services of PKF by hosting and attending marketing events, seminars and presentations by other professionals and clients.
Person Specification

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Significant insolvency experience
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA and ideally CPI / JIEB.
  • Experience of short-term cash flow and other forecast reviews.
  • Commensurate knowledge of the Insolvency Act and Rules
  • Ability to work well under pressure, deal with ambiguity and manage conflict / challenging situations.
  • Risk tolerant, stress tolerant and comfortable working in a changing environment.
  • Great team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite and IPS
